Painting and Teak Carving Calligraphy
This design is applied to quality A teak wood. It is collaborated between classical Javanese art (majapahit carving motifs) and classical Arabic calligraphy which refers to the rules of classical Arabic calligraphy (Khat al-Sittah).
This design was carried out in 2009, located at Nurul Fajri Mosque in Tamansari, Wuluhan Kab. Jember. The work was completed within two months.
In addition to working on wood carving designs, the calligraphy was also done in this mosque with murals. Applied to the walls of the mosque’s dome.
