We can also find it in the Indonesian Qur’an wherever this text is used so that Indonesian people can read it more easily.

The history of the development of Khat Naskhi became writing that reached the Arab region of Hijaz in its latest form, after being separated from its ancient form before the time of Prophethood. Further development of the increasingly perfect writing style is used for office administration and correspondence in the Islamic era. In the third and fourth centuries of the hijri, the Naskhi khat patterns were more beautiful thanks to the modifications made by Ibn Muqlah (272-328 H).

Historians assume that Ibn Muqlah was the base of the Khat Naskhi foundation in its perfect form in the days of the Bani Abbas. At the time of Atabek Ali’s reign (545 AH), the effort to beautify Naskhi’s khat reached its peak, so that it was famous for the style called Naskhi Atabeki. The style of khat is widely used to copy the manuscripts of the Qur’an in medieval Islam, as well as shifting the position of the ancient Kufi khat which has been widely used before. This is called Naskhi because the Khattat wrote the Mushaf of the Qur’an and various books using this style of khat.

1. Khat Naskhi Qadim
Naskhi Qadim or ancient is a writing style that arrived at us from the time of Abbas then beautified by Ibn Muqlah, beautified again by the people of Atabek, then processed again into increasingly perfect works by the Turks. The khattat now traditionally write with this style simply because they follow the method and its old origins, which have been laid down by the founders of our old masters, including the size, height, thinness of thick horizontal and vertical lines, to their arches.

2. Khat Naskhi Suhufi
Naskhi Suhufi or journalism is a writing style that continues to develop its letter form. Named Suhufi because of its wide spread in the journalistic field. In contrast to Naskhi Qadim which is more flexible with many rounds, Naskhi Suhufi tends to be rigid and in some parts approaches the Kufi form because it has sharp angles. So this style is often called Naskhi-Kufi or a combination of Naskhi and Kufi with general characteristics of very thick horizontal strokes and very thin and short vertical strokes.
Naskhi-Kufi which is widely used in adverts, signboards, posters, and the titles of newspaper and magazine writings have entered the world of computers so that they are rarely or even not directly written by the hand.
